I came across a situ recently where in a relationship bw X and Y person, there was some distance. Reason is still unknown but let's assume it was lockdown and it's effects.

And now, X is attached with Z as well as does not want to let go of Y now as now Y decided to pull up the socks and to get back to being dedicated towards the relationship.
